The daycare and the monitored study

DAYCARE

The daycare service is provided every day from 7.15 to 8.00 am and from 3.30 to 5.30 pm (and on Fridays from 7.15 to 8.00 am and from 12.45 to 3.45 pm) and allows children to stay at school until their parents collect them. Children play freely in the courtyards under adult supervision. Kindergarten and elementary students each have their own playground. They can also participate in extra-curricular activities (explained below).

Parents picking up their children are asked to sign the daycare register before their departure

Enrollment in the school’s daycare is optional. It is intended for kindergarten and primary students only. In case of enrollment, parents commit themselves to a complete period of 7 weeks, renewable from one period to another. 

Costs : 

– Free of charge from 7.15 to 8.00 a.m.

– R200 for 1 day per week, price for the complete period (Ex: Every Monday = R200, Mondays and Tuesdays = R400 …)

SUPERVISED STUDY

The supervised study is intended for students from CP to CM2 and allows students to do their homework with help or advice, if necessary, from the referring adult. In the case of enrollment, parents commit to a complete period of 6 to 7 weeks, renewable from one period to another (5 periods in the year). 

Study will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and Fridays from 1 to 2 pm (no study on Tuesdays).

SUPERVISED STUDY DATES FOR 2019-2020:

P1: September 9 – October 18, 2019

P2: October 30 – December 6, 2019

P3: 6 January – 21 February 2020

P4: 9 March – 24 April 2020

P5: 6 May – 26 June 2020

Enrollment in the supervised study is optional.

Costs: R350 for 1 day per week (for the full period)

The Library

Kindergarten and elementary school students are welcomed and supervised in turn at the library, in small groups, on weekday mornings between 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Children from CP onwards can go to the library to work, read or do research, during lunchtime from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and during the aftercare from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and from 12:30 pm to 3:45 pm on Fridays.
